David Augustus

David Augustus is a civil litigator at J. Diamond and Associates, PLLC. A graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, he earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence cum laude. Admitted to practice law since 2002, David is licensed in all Texas state courts, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

With experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants, David has demonstrated versatility on both sides of the courtroom and across various practice areas. He has served as primary litigation counsel in multiple trials and arbitrations and regularly mediates disputes, showcasing his comprehensive litigation and alternative dispute resolution skills. David's recent and current areas of focus encompass a wide variety of civil litigation practices, including personal injury, commercial and product liability cases, breach of contract, DTPA and consumer issues, fraud, construction litigation, premises liability, business ownership disputes, securities, and franchise relationships.

Prior to law school, David attended Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and met his wife. They are the proud parents of three exceptional daughters and an almost-as-exceptional dog.
