Lynda K. Burkhalter

Lynda K. Burkhalter is assocated with the firm and was a medic in the United States Army and Army National Guard from 1987 to 1995. She received her J.D. from St. Mary’s School of Law in 1998. While in law school, Ms. Burkhalter was a Finalist in the 1997 National Mock Trial competition and a Quarterfinalist in the 1997 State and A.T.L.A. Mock Trial competitions. Ms. Burkhalter was on the Dean's List and was nominated for the President's Award. Ms. Burkhalter practiced family law, criminal law and personal injury law in Kentucky from 1998 until she returned to Texas in 2002. Ms. Burkhalter has since focused her practice on litigation, independently handling all aspects of a civil litigation defense docket. She has experience in dealing with: commercial litigation; construction litigation; breach of contract; medical malpractice; worker’s compensation; property damage; and personal injury defense.
