Malinda Edwards de Mata

Malinda Edwards de Mata is associated with the firm and graduated from South Texas College of Law with her J.D. in 2004. She quickly excelled in the profession and is a skilled civil litigator, advocate, negotiator and business law specialist. Her practice encompasses representing clients in civil litigation matters involving complex contract negotiations, preparation and disputes; insurance defense; product and premises liability; construction-defect; personal injury; regulatory compliance; real estate transactions; advertising and marketing legal review; construction and project development; mergers and acquisitions; employee/labor policies, and equine law issues. Ms. Edwards is involved in all aspects of civil litigation from case inception to trial, including motion practice, written discovery, depositions, strategy assessments and mediation. She is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts and is licensed to practice law in the United States District Court for the Southern Districts of Texas.

Ms. Edwards de Mata is also the owner of PM Bishop Farms, where she breeds and trains Lusitano dressage and sport horses. She is Member of board of directors of Working Equitation International Association of USA, and a member of board of directors of Houston Dressage Society. She is the founding member of Working Equitation Georgia LLC.
